Degrees and Certifications:
I was raised in Lemoore and currently still live here. I attended elementary school and junior high at Mary Immaculate Queen School and graduated from Lemoore High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Fresno State, my Teaching Credential from Chapman University, my Administrative Credential through Kings County Office of Education, and my Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership through Chapman University. I have been teaching at Island Elementary School since 2003. I taught 2nd grade for 8 years, then 8 years of teaching in 4th grade, and now am currently teaching 7th grade at Island School. I have three handsome sons, Ryan, Baley, and Conor. Ryan and Baley both graduated from Island and Lemoore High School. Ryan is married and has given me two beautiful grandchildren named Blaine and Hailey. My daughter in law is a beautiful young lady and I am so lucky to have her. My youngest son Conor is still attending Island School. I am blessed to work at the school that both my kids and grandchildren attended. I collect angels and write poetry. I enjoy church, water sports, softball, the beach, and Starbucks. I am a CrossFit addict and workout Monday through Friday at 4:30 AM. Most of all, I love empowering students and other adults to achieve beyond their wildest expectations.
