Board Meetings
Island Union Elementary Governing Board Meetings are held once a month on the 4th Wednesday at 5:00. Special Board meetings may be called as needed and will be announced to the public. All actions of the Board take place in public session. However, the Board may adjourn to a closed session, in accordance with the California Education Code, to discuss personnel matters, land purchases, negotiations, and confidential records. Any action resulting from a discussion in a closed session must be taken during a public session when the Board reconvenes.

Regular meetings of the Board are normally held monthly during the school year, on the 4th Wednesday of the month, at 5:00 pm in room 602 on the north end of campus, at 7799 21st Avenue, Lemoore. Special meetings may be called when necessary; the agenda, location, and time will be announced in advance. Meetings during the summer months may be scheduled as necessary.
Island School District Board meetings will be held in person.
